Outbound truck traffic from Romania has to wait for more than three hours at the Giurgiu-Ruse border crossing and the line has reached over 10 km, Digi 24 TV reported. 
The cause for the pile ups are repairs to the Bulgarian section of Danube Bridge 1.
The channel quotes Romanian Deputy Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu as saying last week that he had asked the Bulgarian authorities to postpone until the autumn the repairs of the bridge so as not to affect the busy traffic in the summer.
Truck drivers are complaining that they have to leave one earlier in order to deliver the transported goods on time.
