"The parties represented in Parliament must find a way out of the situation as soon as possible because we need responsible and stable governance," Bulgarian President Rumen Radev said here on Friday, commenting on the domestic political situation in the wake of There Is Such a People's withdrawal from the government coalition.
"The political crisis is a fact but, unlike previous crises, this one is unfolding in conditions of rampant inflation and a social, economic and food crisis caused by the war in Ukraine," the head of State pointed out.
"While the parties are trying to form a ruling majority, the Cabinet must ensure social payments and support for business, must stand up for the veto on [the launch of EU accession negotiations with] the Republic of North Macedonia in line with the framework adopted by the Consultative Council for National Security, and must make sure that the State keeps functioning," Radev said.
